Sometimes, negative thoughts become part of automatic programs that our minds run against our will. They are reactive and create patterns of thought for us that are often detrimental to our well-being and take us away from the peace of this moment. This technique requires a simple writing exercise first in which you make a list of 20 things you want. Then you are guided in a specific way to powerfully create an image relating to what you want. Next, you memorize the list so that each image can be called up rapidly– like you are flipping pages of flip-book.
